As the National Library of Korea (NLK) celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2025, it has set forth in its annual major work plan the vision statement Connecting the World with Intelligence and Culture and is implementing a number of progressive measures in response to the current information environment.

Symposium: Building on the 'Digital Shift'

The National Diet Library, Japan (NDL) is holding a symposium "Building on the 'Digital Shift' – Implications for the future in the Library of Congress' new strategic plan" on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the Tokyo Main Library of the NDL.

Tracing the Reception of Japanese Art in the West

The Art Research Center (ARC), Ritsumeikan University, is pleased to announce an upcoming international symposium based on our long-standing international joint research collaboration with the team led by Prof. Hans B. Thomsen at the University of Zurich on digitizing Japanese art collections in Central Europe.
This event is held in English. Live simultaneous interpretation in Japanese is available.
