NIJL/EAJRS Kotenseki Seminar 2025

The National Institute of Japanese Literature (NIJL) and the European Association of Japanese Resource Specialists (EAJRS) are pleased to invite you to the third Kotenseki Seminar. 
This year, we will explore Japanese publishing and distribution from the late Edo to the early Shōwa.
Our speaker will discuss how Japan’s publishing industry and culture evolved following the opening of the country.
The seminar will be delivered in Japanese, without interpretation.
